Aldo Romaldus Vrh, age 84, passed away on September 11, 2026, at his home in Melbourne Beach, FL, surrounded by close family and friends.

Aldo was born on September 3, 1942, in Sveti Petar u Sumi, Croatia, to parents Albert and Marija (nee Ujcic). He was the beloved husband of 52 years to Cathy Vrh, and deeply loved by his niece, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends in the U.S. and abroad whom he considered part of his family.

Aldo was known for his dedication to lifelong learning and hard work. He had a successful and fulfilling career as an engineer and manager. He ultimately served as National Manager of Quality Assurance at Marposs, located in Auburn Hills, Michigan, serving the automotive and manufacturing sectors. He established a robust system and culture at Marposs through his commitment to high-quality manufacturing and, throughout his tenure, brought extensive expertise in quality assurance systems, automotive standards (APQP, PPAP), and Lean manufacturing.

Aldo became a resident of Melbourne Beach, Florida, in 2018, after 50 years of service at Marposs. There, he wholeheartedly embraced island life and formed deep connections with friends, neighbors and fellow parishioners of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He proudly served as the Vice President of the Crystal Lakes Property Owners Association. He loved helping friends and neighbors solve home improvement, construction, and engineering challenges.

Aldo will remain in our hearts as a kind-hearted and cherished member of our families who enjoyed connecting with everyone around him, and who felt at one with nature, wildlife, and happiest near the ocean and at his beloved lake cabin in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
