It is with great sadness that the family of Ana Culumovic (née Basic) announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the age of 85.
Ana will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 69 years, Petar; her son, Duke (Laura); her grandchildren, Katie (Jeff), Nicole (Mark), and Michael (Emily). Ana also leaves behind her sister, Marija (Marko) Kasumovic; her brother Jandre (Kata) Basic; her nieces, Anna Kasumovic, Tina (Greg) MacKenzie; and her nephews, Nick Basic, John (Kim) Basic.
Ana was predeceased by her parents, Nikola and Marija Basic. She will be fondly remembered for her open friendliness, love of laughter and engaging story telling. Ana cherished all of her family and friends both here in Canada and her homeland, Croatia.
