Ana Puljic (nee Lukacevic) was born on June 17, 1949, in Donja Mahala, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois.
Ana was the beloved wife to Mijo Puljic, a devoted mother to Mladen and Ivica (Melanie), the proudest baka to Isabella, Mia, Sophia, Daniel and Adam; a loving sister to ten siblings, and a kind aunt to dozens of nieces and nephews.
She was known for her unwavering generosity, strength, and determination throughout her life. Her incredible work ethic inspired those around her and, like her fruit platters, Kiflice and cheese flan, left a lasting impact on her family and friends.
Ana’s legacy will live on through her sons and grandchildren, who carry forward the values she instilled in them. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
