Ana and family immigrated to the USA from Croatia in 1968. She lived in Michigan, Georgia, and Florida. During her working life, she was an excellent seamstress and tailor.
She enjoyed gardening, taking pride in her flower and vegetable gardens, which were the envy of her friends and neighbors. Always active, Ana loved to walk, take yoga classes, and volunteer. Many have enjoyed her exquisite baked goods.
She will be forever loved and missed by her son Ivan (Jamie) Skripnik, daughter Josipa (Randy) Burgess, grandsons Steven (Jen) Skripnik and Paul Skripnik; granddaughter Nicole Burgess-Busch (Jim Busch); great granddaughters Phoebe and Frankie Skripnik; step-grandchildren Riley (Abby) Thomas, John Michael (Sarah) Busch, Jimmy Busch (Aaron Flanagan), and Katie Busch, great grandson John David Busch, brother-in-law Val (Reina) Skripnik, sister-in-law Štefica Šalic, and many relatives in Croatia, Bosnia, Austria, Germany, Poland, Canada, and the United States. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Steve, her sisters Mira and Štefa, and brothers Ivica and Tone.
