Ann D. Mitchell, 98, of Brighton Township, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2020, in Franciscan Manor, Patterson Township.
She was born September 11, 1922, in Ganister, Blair County, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Anton and Antonia Kasun. Ann grew up in Brady's Bend, Pa., before moving to Beaver County where she met the love of her life, John C. Mitchell. She and John were married February 2, 1946, and later moved to California, returning to Brighton Township in 1994.
Ann was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Beaver and a former member of the United Croatian Club, New Brighton.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, John in 2008; son, Gary Mitchell in 1990; five brothers, Anthony, George and Joseph Kasun and Steve and Micky Steiner; and two sisters, Mary Dolmovich and Peggy Saiko.
Ann will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and families.
The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice for their compassion and care for Ann during her short battle with COVID-19.
Friends will be received Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the TODD FUNERAL HOME, 340 Third St., Beaver and a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at Noon in Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Beaver by Father Robert Miller.
