Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Ann (nee Jercinovic), 86, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2021 after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Anthony (Tony). Ann was the devoted mother to her five children, Anthony (Carol), the late Christopher (the late Cheryl), Gregory (Helen), Elizabeth and Jennifer (Peter) Crites. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, who loved their Grandmother and will miss her greatly.
Born and raised in St. Louis, with two older sisters, the late Virginia Sokolich and the late Eleanor Katich, Ann was the daughter of Croatian immigrants, John and Ursula Jercinovic. Proud of her heritage, Ann regularly attended St. Joseph Croatian Catholic Church, where she met and married Tony. Tony and Ann deeply loved each other, and enjoyed doing everything together whether it was traveling, dancing, or attending plays and concerts. Together, they raised their children near Florissant, where they were active members of St. Angela Merici Catholic Church.
A devoted wife and mother, Ann was the heart and soul of the family. Her life centered around her children, encouraging them to always do their best and provided a loving and nurturing environment for each of them to succeed. She was proud of all of her children and grandchildren and was there for special events, birthdays, and graduations. Ann was a voracious reader, loved crossword puzzles, and enjoyed time with her family, particularly holidays at their second home in the country.
