Anna Mae Kostelich, 92, of Muse, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 25, 2021, in Paramount Senior Living of Peters Township.

She was born March 4, 1929, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Andrew and Bertha Kendra Straka.

Anna Mae lived her life in Muse and Canonsburg where she was a devoted housewife and mother. She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canonsburg, Muse Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 Ladies Auxiliary. Proud of her Croatian Heritage, she was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union.

On June 29, 1949, she married Marko Kostelich, who passed away January 28, 2008.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Barbara Ann (John) McAnany of Washington, Rose Marie (Thomas) Moze of Muse and Mark Kostelich of Peters Township; four grandchildren, Jeanne (Gary) Terrill, John (Melanie) McAnany Jr., Melissa (Edwin) Schell and Jennifer McAnany (Satevea Mahan); five great-grandchildren, Alex Engel, Audra Terrill, Amber McAnany, Adam McAnany and Aidan Schell; her brother, Andrew Straka of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Anna Mae was preceded in death, in addition to her parents and husband, by two brothers, Glenn Straka and Edward Straka.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 28, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 29, with Pastor Brenda Henry and Pastor John Patterson officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Park, North Strabane Township.
