Ante (Tony) Lezaja, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sunday February, 5th with his loving family by his side.
Ante was born in Zablace, Croatia on July 16, 1931. He immigrated to the United States in 1967, settling in San Pedro, where he worked as a commercial fisherman. Hunting was his passion and he enjoyed it for over 40 years with his wife Zdenka and friends.
Ante and Zdenka also enjoyed yearly visits to Croatia. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his mother Milica, son Frane, father Ivica, step-mother Cecilija and brother Nikica (Nick).
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 70 years Zdenka, his daughters Nada Vuksic and Milena (Joso) Grgas, grandson Mirko (Julie) Vuksic, granddaughters Stefanie, Michelle and Daniela Grgas, great grandchildren Kristian and Ava Vuksic, brother Ivan and sister Ankica Ljubic.
