Anthony, passed away November 11, 2021. He immigrated from Croatia in the 1950s and was a longtime resident of Astoria, Queens.
He worked on the first nuclear powered cargo ship, the NS Savannah. He then went on to work in the restaurant industry, including the Rainbow Room, while owning and managing an apartment building in Astoria. His great passion for winemaking led him to cultivate a vineyard on the North Shore of Long Island.
He had a long and loving marriage to his late wife, Ann. He was well-liked and respected by everyone who knew him and admired and beloved by his family.
He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his son, Jason Juriako, his niece, Dinka Benvin, and his grand-nieces, Natalie and Nicole Benvin.
