In Memory of Anto Puda. Anto was born in Donji Čajdraš, Zenica, BiH on February 1,1965. He passed away on August 29, 2021 after battling complications of liver disease.
He is survived by his sisters: Marica, Slavica and Jelena of Busovača, BiH and Ljubica of Australia; cousin of Zoran and Zeljko of Mentor; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tomislav and Ana; and brother, Branko.
He proudly fought in the Croatian Homeland War and came to the US in 1999. Shortly thereafter, he settled in Cleveland and worked hard as a laborer at Enterprise Welding in Mentor for 19 years .
He liked to watch Croatian sports teams , especially soccer. Anto was happy spending time with friends on his porch where he loved to tell stories and was always quick with a joke. He will be missed by many.
Friends received at St. Paul Croatian Church, 1369 E. 40 Street, Cleveland on Thursday, Sept. 2 from 9-10am, followed by Mass at 10am. Interment All Souls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
