Antoinette Ljutich, 90, a longtime Red Hook resident, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at The Thompson House in Rhinebeck, NY.
Born on October 21, 1931, in Ostrobradic, Croatia she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Milovic) Herzich. As a young child, Antoinette traveled to New York City with her mother where they were reunited with her father.
Antoinette married George Ljutich in 1955 in New York City, he predeceased her in 1979. Antoinette is survived by her children, Helen (Michael) Powers of Stone Ridge, NY, John Ljutichof Red Hook, NY, Frank Ljutich of Red Hook, NY, Paul (Janet) Ljutich of Livingston, NY; her grandchildren, Matt (Alissa) Powers, Lisa Powers, Jordyn Whitman (Josh Finkel), Erika Ljutich, Kelly Ljutich, Jessica (Aaron) Shaw, Nicole Ljutich, and Jennifer Ljutich; her great grandchildren, Fiona and Myles Powers; in addition to extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Antoinette is predeceased by her brother, Frank Herzich.
