ntonia (Dabo) Blanchard of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2021, at Fairfield Medical Center from a heart attack.
Born July 29, 1927, she was first generation American, whose parents emigrated from Croatia. Known to family and friends as Toni, and called Baba by her grandchildren and great grandsons, as that is the Croatian word for grandma. A devout Catholic, she was humble and caring, and truly loved by all who knew her.
Antonia is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Blanchard.
Antonia is survived by her sons; Steve Blanchard and Sandy (Moore) Blanchard, Greg and Beverly (Metcalf) Blanchard, Paul Blanchard and Karen Artis.
Grandchildren; Abby and Nate Spear, Tyler Blanchard, Alex and Jordan (Safin) Blanchard.
Great grandsons; Jack Spear and William Spear.
Antonia is also survived by niece Judy Bowden and husband Terry, and family members and friends.
There will be no viewing, as Antonia has donated her remains to Ohio University Medical Department in Athens, Ohio for research to help others in the future.

On Saturday, May 15th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. a memorial Mass will be held at St. Bernadette's Church, located at 1343 Wheeling Rd. NE, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
There will be a luncheon immediately following the Mass in the school cafeteria to celebrate her life.
