t is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Domjancic (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her spouse Mijo; her parents, Konrad Jurcic and Jela Jurcic of Croatia; and her sibling Stjepan Jurcic. She is survived by : her siblings, Tereza Bujan (late Stjepan), Mike Jurcic (Ankica) and Joe Jurcic (Mary); and her nieces and nephews, Darko (Joyce), Jadranka, Blazenka, Michael, Adrian (Silvia), Jane (Bob) and Irene (Sean).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 14th 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7). A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 15th 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Croatian Church (1883 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7). Due to COVID-19, all events are restricted to a specified number of attendees.
Donations in Barbara's memory may be made to Holy Cross Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
