It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Biserka Stojcic on January 4th at age 67. Beloved wife of Stjepan for 46 years and loving mother of John, Michael and Christina. A part of Biserka's heart always remained in Croatia where she will be deeply missed by her sisters Barka (the late Josip), Katica (the late Drago), nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Predeceased by her father Marko, mother Mara and brother Boro.
She will be fondly remembered in Canada by her kumovi Daisy (the late Louis), brother in law Janko (Doris), niece Cindy (Scott) and friends. She was a kind, selfless and hard-working woman who devoted her life to taking care of her family and home. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crafting and especially loved gardening.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a private service and interment will take place at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery in Stoney Creek on Friday January 8th. A memorial mass will be held at Holy Cross Croatian Church at a later date.
