It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Branka. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 31, 2021. Loving wife of Berislav. Beloved Mama of Ivona (Neil) and Inga (Dubravko). Cherished Baba of Cassius and Kaia. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Canada. She will be fondly remembered for her energetic take on life and caring and loving nature.
Due to Covid-19, all visitations and funerals are restricted to a specified number of attendees. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, as well as provide name and telephone number to funeral home staff. Visitation is at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday August 3, 2021 from 5-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Wednesday August 4 at 11am with cremation to follow.
