Carolyn Therese Balich, 39 yrs. old, was called home to Heaven on September 8, 2022, after a 17-month battle with brain cancer. She battled it with beauty, dignity and grace.
Carolyn was born on November 6, 1982 and lived in Chicago, IL, Nebo, NC, and Mokena, IL. Her favorite places were Emerald Isle, NC, and the Mansell Homestead, Peotone, IL. She loved the beach, horses, helping on the farm, cooking, baking and art work. Carolyn had an artistic talent for jewelry and shell art. She used her talents to create gifts for others.
Throughout her battle with cancer, she never gave up and was concerned more for others than for herself. She will be remembered for her cheerfulness, compassion and a smile that could light up a room.
Carolyn is survived by her parents, Joe and Linda Balich, brother Tony (Cheryl) Balich, nephew and nieces Andrew, Claire and Charlotte Balich, and many aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom she dearly loved.
Carolyn was loved by and will be missed by many. Although her sweet and bubbly personality along with her incredible smile are no longer with us, we will carry her in our hearts.
