Charles M. 'Chuck' Azich, 94 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Beaver Healthcare and Rehab, Aliquippa. A beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, he was a longtime resident of Conway and most recently of Freedom.

Born at home in Conway into a loving family, predeceased by his parents, Dan and Amelia Azich, stepmother, Martha Azich, sisters Catherine and Janet Azich, sister and brother-in-law Amelia 'Babe' and Donald Knezevich, brother-in-law Pete Harasin, and special aunts Mildred (Nick) Arbutina and Roddy and Mary Tepsic.

Chuck is survived by his devoted son, Greg and wife, Mimi Azich, and his caring daughter, Melissa and husband, David Deiter. He was a proud grandfather to Adam (Brittany) Deiter, Nicol (John) Celich, Rachel (Andrew) Logan, and Brad Azich. His great-grandchildren, Emma Logan, Lily and Graham Celich, and Olivia Deiter, were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother, Dan (Karen) Azich, and sister, Marian Harasin.

Chuck was a dedicated worker and retired as the store manager of the former Sewickley A & P Grocery store.

Chuck was a man of many talents and interests. He was the original "Shy Guy" and founding member of the "Shy Guys Band" with Art Ruperto and Harry Muders. For over 50 years, they played at numerous venues and events, bringing joy and entertainment to countless people. Chuck's love for music was infectious, and his performances were always filled with passion and energy.

Beyond his musical pursuits, Chuck was a dedicated volunteer at Concordia Villa St Joseph of Baden. He also coached softball for the 'Angels' Softball team. His involvement with the Croatian Tamuritzans showcased his pride in his heritage, and his service as a Korean veteran of the U.S. Army was a testament to his bravery and dedication to his country.

Chuck's life was characterized by his love for his family, his passion for music, and his dedication to service.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Beaver Healthcare and Good Samaritan Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care that they provided to Charles.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions may be made, if desired in Chuck's memory to Good Samaritan Hospice, 116 Brown's Hill Road, Valencia, PA. 16059
