BRAJKOVIC, Christopher Slavko September 5, 1978 - June 13, 2021 We were so lucky to have you for 42 years.
You have joined your father Slavko, grandparents Ivan and Maria, Uncle Roko and Aunties Ivanka and Anka, grandparents Duke and Bea Shepard, Aunty Jill, and many other family members and friends.
You are so missed by your Mom, Gale Shepard and stepdad, Rick Kerfont, Aunties Jackie (Ron), Lynnie (Dan), Uncle Franjo, Auntie Buca, half brothers Richard, Ronnie and Robert, stepsisters, and stepbrothers Jamie (Derrick), Julie, Jennifer (Mike), Bri, Beau, Julian (Larissa) and Beau Jr., cousins Wendy (John), Lori (Keith), Rob (Brenna), Leah (Ross), and so many friends.
You were big from the start at 9 lbs. 9 oz., and were always a fabulous athlete just like Grandad Shepard who was scouted by the Yankees. You excelled at soccer, basketball, fastball, and volleyball. That's how you got the name "Croatian Sensation". You had your chance to model, but you said "No Way!". You loved to travel: Nicaragua, Panama and Mexico with Bigcat; Thailand, Bali, and Indonesia with Adam; Hawaii, Florida, Washington, and Alberta for sports; Rome for a week with Mom, and of course to visit your family in Serbia and Croatia.
You always loved to eat or to cook and were happy to pick organic fruits and veggies from our yard. Our property was your happy place. You were so happy at your job with Seaspan. You always had interesting stories about your work on the submarine as an electrician. You enjoyed your co-workers and expressed how supportive your bosses were.
You made many friendships in your work career, working in various provinces. Please don't worry about us. We have so much support from family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be at 2pm on Sunday, September 5th, 2021, which is Chris's 43rd birthday.
