Mrs. Danica Vancas , 92, of Kansas City KS passed away Tuesday August 27, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Vancas was born July 12, 1932 in Zaluka, Croatia. She emigrated to the United States in 1970 with her husband and children. She worked at Ace Electric Company and retired from Champ Service Line in 1997. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Croatian Fraternal Union. In retirement she enjoyed going to the YMCA with friends, gardening and cooking.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ivan Vancas; her parents and brother Josip. She is survived by her sons Nick (Joanne) and Ivan (Angela) and grandsons Zachary and Jonathan.
