Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital just shy of her 76th birthday. She is reunited with her husband Stjepan of 49 years. Loving mama of Anna.
She is predeceased by her parents Josip and Dragica and her siblings Juraj, Dragutin, Stjepan, Barbara, Marija, Katarina and Magdalena. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, friends and Kumovi in Canada, Croatia, Germany, Australia and Ireland.
Special thank you to Dr. McCarthy and the Palliative team, all the doctors, nurses and PSWs on 5N400 aka Dragica’s Angels. Also special thank you to the Mlacak family, Latin family, Topic family, Capin family and everyone who called and visited during her stay in hospital.
Dragica was an avid gardener, fantastic cook and baker and loved to socialize. She had an infectious laugh and was very religious and she will be missed by everyone. She is now dancing with her husband in Heaven and watching over us. May she rest in peace.
