On Sunday, March 14, 2021, Dragica Topic, passed away at the age of 94. Born in Croatia in 1926 to Ivan and Ana Pavlin, the widowed Dragica Topic moved to Chicago with her three children in 1967. She worked for Nabisco Foods until her retirement in 1990. A parishioner of St. Bede the Venerable Church, her faith played a very important role in her life. Dragica’s kind and generous spirit will be remembered by family and friends alike. She shared her love of family and friends through smiles, warm hugs and her delicious cooking.

She is survived by her son Vinko (Jeanne) Topic, daughters Ivanka Spano and Jadranka Topic along with her beloved grandchildren Damian Spano, Matthew (Eileen) Topic, Julie (Sean) Gorman and Anthony Topic and great-grandchildren Madeline Topic, Mia Topic, Joseph Gorman, Caroline Gorman and Andrew Gorman. She is also survived by her brother Marko (Marica) Pavlin and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters Enica Jakic, Pepica Krizan and Mary Samanic.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 21, from 4-8 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd Street, Oak Lawn. A prayer service at the funeral home will begin at 9:00 on Monday, March 22, with the Mass of Christian burial to begin at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church, 8200 S. Kostner, Chicago, at 10:00 AM. Please note, Mass is limited to 100 guests and they require you sign up at the Funeral Home the night of the visitation. Please call to sign up if you are not attending the visitation. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.

In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Blake-Lamb Funeral Home will adhere to the current gathering restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allow 50 or fewer guests on a rotating basis at services.
