Drago held his family and friends close to his heart, always putting the needs of others before his own.
He will be deeply missed, and his memory will continue to be cherished by his parents Josip and Kata, daughter Christina (Steven), and granddaughter Emeliana.
Drago is pre-deceased by his son Daniel, where they peacefully rest together with our heavenly father. Drago will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and relatives both near and far. Drago was a dedicated long-standing employee of Norton Canada Inc and Samuel Plate Processing. He will be remembered by his extended family and friends in Canada, Croatia, Australia, and the US.
Due to Covid-19, all visitations and funerals are restricted to a specified number of attendees. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, as well as provide name and phone number to funeral home staff for tracing purposes. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday, September 2 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm. Vigil will be held at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Parish, 1883 King St. E on Friday, September 3 at 11am. Drago will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, 681 Mud St. Donations in Drago’s (Danny) honour can be made to Holy Cross Croatian Parish.
