He was a beloved husband of Stefica, father of Suzan, brother of Slavica and grandfather of Sabina and Jasmina.
Franjo-“Frank” was born in Gola, Croatia on November 2 1934. He spent most part of his life in Montreal where he worked as an auto body mechanic. He had a great passion for fishing, hunting, painting and wine making. He enjoyed being in the company of friends and relatives and was known to be the life of a party with his joy for singing.
A man of few words but a heart larger than life, he lived boldly and fully, leaving behind a lifetime of stories that could rival the tales of Hollywood. He was a true warrior, facing every medical challenge that came his way with resilience, determination, and courage.
He lived a humble life that could only be described as loving and authentic, finding joy in the simple things and putting family above all else. His kindness, generosity and gentle nature touched everyone who knew him. Through every chapter, he remained steadfast and strong, showing his family what perseverance and heart truly look like.
Above all, he will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather whose presence, wisdom, and quiet love will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
