It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Brkovich on May 3, 2024, at home in Lyons, IL. He was surrounded by his wife and adult children, faithfully cared for by them under home hospice since 2021.
Born on November 20, 1934, in Grubisno Polje, Croatia, he lived a full and honorable life until the age of 89.
Frank is survived by his cherished and caring wife, Veronika (Cavic) Brkovich, and his devoted children: Joe Brkovich, Davor Brkovich and his wife Danica, and Dr. Victoria Brkovich. He was a proud grandfather to Gregory, Melanie, Zachary, and Sofie Veronika. His extended family of nieces and nephews will also hold dear his memory.
Preceding him in death were his siblings older brother Jozo Brkovich, identical twin brother Nikola Brkovich, and older sisters Marija Milanez and Ankica Armich. They have now welcomed him into eternal rest.
We bid farewell to Frank Brkovich, a man of warmth and uwavering dedicaton to his family, whose legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
