Franko Grdovic, 84, passed away on February 5, 2024 after a battle with Leukemia. He was born in Zadar, Croatia and resided in Flanders, NJ for 36 years before moving to Wildwood Crest, NJ.
He is survived by his son Daniel and grandchildren Danielle, Andrew, Jacob and Lilly, and his sister Laura. He was predeceased by, and now united with, his wife Minna, his son Jonathan and his brothers Aldo and Dario.
Franko was a warm and welcoming person who made good impressions wherever he went. He had an outstanding work ethic and many talents. He was known for his wood carvings of dolphins and whales and shared his pieces with everyone he met.
Franko always enjoyed the shore and moved to Wildwood Crest with Minna after they both retired.
