George Kucenic, 90, passed away March 21, 2021. George was born in Bogovci, Croatia on April 17, 1930 to parents Mijo Kucenic and Magada Kucenic.
He is preceded in death by his wife Catherine Kucenic; his parents; son, Nick Kucenic; brothers, Josip and Nikola Kucenic; sister, Sophia Kovacic, step-son, Eugene Patzner. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Annie Kucenic; sister Maria (Slavo) Ivicak; step-daughters, Loretta Rhule (Bill), Karen Porter (Gary); daughter-in-law, Connie Kucenic; three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00 am – 10:00 am on, March 26, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 N. 4th St., Kansas City, KS followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment will follow the ceremony at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family requests no flowers, but memorial contributions of the donor's choice.
