EDWARDS - Heinrich "Henry" Felde, age 86, of Edwards passed away at 10:36 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
Born December 1, 1934, in Croatia, he was a son to Johan and Elisabeth (Wendel) Felde. On December 16, 1995, he married Kari Prescott in Las Vegas. Together they cherished 25 years.
Henry was a well-known businessman, having owned and operated H. Felde Tool & Machine since 1969. He was also an accomplished musician who played the accordion. Henry was a member of the German American Society and Ratskeller Brummers Band, where he sang and played the cymbals. He was actively involved with the German Fest and German Club, where he played soccer at a younger age, as well as, held multiple officer positions. He loved gardening and was a strong man of faith, having served and attended Trinity Lutheran Church for numerous years. Henry was a loving husband and father who was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife, Kari Felde of Edwards; and one son, Collin Felde of Edwards. Henry was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Henry Felde Jr. and Eric Felde; and one daughter, Rite Felde.
