Helen (Jelka) Karabaic, 87, passed away peacefully on July 3rd 2026 in Palm Harbor Florida. She was born in Punat, Croatia in 1938 to Frane and Bernarda Mrakovcic. She grew up in a small village on the Island Krk surrounded by a large extended family, animals, olive trees, and a productive home life.
She was known for her fun nature, strong faith and friendship, extraordinary cooking skills, and skillful steps on the dance floor with her husband.
She is survived by her two sons, Tony and Danny, her grandchild Ryan, and was preceded in death by her husband Vinko.
