Helene Fritz passed away peacefully at her home on July 7, 2024. Helen was born on August 2, 1926, in Croatia to Jacob and Barbara Hanich.
In March of 1964, she married Nickolaus Fritz and joined his family of two daughters, Katie Fritz, and Helga (Kieran) Freyne, and son, Nick (Cleta) Fritz. They were later blessed with two granddaughters, Isa (Grant) Fritz and Heidi (Dan) Reamer. She was also a loving aunt to Barb (Mary) Fleming and Maria Oesterle.
Helen enjoyed working in the garden with her husband. She enjoyed canning, sausage making as well as cooking many delicious meals for all. She wholeheartedly cherished visits from her family.
She had many friends and acquaintances, especially as part of the American Aid Society where she volunteered in the kitchen. She also served as Vice President of the club for many years.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Nickolaus, her parents, sister (Katie Oesterle) and brother-in-law (Rolf Oesterle).
