In Memory of Ivan Cukon, age 90, passed away November 30th, peacefully at home. He was born on July 6, 1931 in Mutvoran, Croatia. Ivan immigrated to the U.S. in 1965 and lived in Cleveland and Rocky River. He worked at MTD Products for 30 years and retired in 1997.
A loving husband who enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren more than anything else. He loved gardening and being outdoors, making homemade wine and dry cured meats, playing competitive bocce ball, briscola, chess, and pool table with all. He was a handyman, folk singer, and story teller. Lived out the American Dream.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ana of 62 years; his children: Carlo (Rose Marie), Norina Cukon-Lyons (Arthur), Mirijana Paulic (Mirko) and Dennis (Allison); his grandchildren: Nikolas and Angelina Cukon; Isaak and Jared Lyons; Marko, Nikolina, Marlina (Marek), and Viktoria Paulic; Christian and Patricia Cukon; and many relatives in Croatia, Italy and Canada.
