Ivan Stajduhar passed away on May 11, 2022. Ivan was born June 15, 1946, in Razdrto, Croatia. He was sponsored by his Uncle John in Osoyoos to come to Canada in 1971. He shortly moved to Vancouver to take English classes and began an apprenticeship under Joe Histed towards becoming a goldsmith.
Upon completion of his apprenticeship, he became the primary goldsmith for Contoli Wholesale Jewelers for 35+ years. Ivan married the love of his life, Ivanka, on October 26, 1974.
He is survived by his loving wife Ivanka Stajduhar, son, Robert Stajduhar, daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Ray Eldridge, his grandchildren, Reid and Parker, his sister Nevenka, as well as nieces and nephews.
