On April 5th Jerry passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Jerry was born in Vela Luka, Croatia on the island of Korcula on May 11, 1927. After completing his education as a Nautical Machinist in Split, Croatia. Jerry left in Croatia 1951 and came to Canada, and finally settling in San Francisco, California where he furthered his education in Electrical Engineering.
In 1962, he married Toncica and together they had two children, Adrian & Dalma. Jerry was very proud of his family: Grandson: Brandon & (wife) Natalie. Great Grandson's, Kingston & Bennett. Grandson: Joshua & (wife) Brie. Great Grandson, Boden. Grandson: Nikolas.
These were his pride and joy. Jerry enjoyed spending time together with all of the kids, be it, target shooting, Birthday parties, or working in the yard with Mama. Tata loved his riverfront property on the Skagit River.
Before Covid you would find him at the American Croatian Club for the monthly dinners. And everyone that knew Jerry, they knew his buddy "IVO BOY" an African Parrot who has been his best buddy for 30 years; they enjoyed their afternoon's watching westerns.
Jerry is survived by his family listed above, his sister in law, many numerous nephews, nieces, friends, and foreign exchange students. Also in Croatia, Canada, Sweden, and Japan.
Jerry is preceded in death by: His Parents on both sides, 1 brother, 2 sisters, 3 brothers in laws, and 1 sister in law.
Mass will be April 14th @ 9am @ St. Mary's Church Anacortes.
Due to Covid a Celebration of life will be at a later date at the American Croatian Club.
