It is with very heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, uncle and friend- Jerko Granić.
Jerko (Jerry) was an incredible force his entire life, and dedicated the last 50+ years to his family and the Croatian community. Whether it be through playing for the legendary Toronto Croatia soccer team of the early 70's, coaching Croatian youth through the 80's, or running a Croatian radio program for over 25+ years helping raise awareness and support for the Croatian homeland, Jerko always gave whatever he could to help the community.
Jerko leaves behind his loving wife Štefica, son Anton with wife Katarina and grandchildren Sofia and Maks, and son Daniel with with wife Shawna and grandchildren Ciara and Adriana.
Jerko also leaves behind his younger brothers Vinko and Iko, along with numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and Croatia.
We are grateful that he was able to spend his final days surrounded by those he loved, and that he is now at peace. We love you Didi.
