Josip Boljesic was born in Krizpolje, Croatia on December 19, 1935 and passed away on January 12, 2021 in Victoria, BC. He leaves behind his loving wife, Julka, who he shared the same birthdate and birthplace with, destined to spend 64 years together. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Ana (Branko), Josepha (Tom) and Michelle (Nick); grandchildren Dominik, Natalie (Chad), Theo, Stephanie, Maia and Matthew; great-grandson, Jack; brother-in-law Josip (Kate); niece Karen (Alojzije) and nephew Joey (Kathleen); and many extended family and friends in Canada, Croatia, Belgium, France and Germany.
Due to COVID restrictions, a Private Family Memorial will take place on January 15, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallgardens.com
