It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Kata Boros peacefully with her children at her side, on January 11, 2026, at St. Josephs Hospital in her 87th year. She will now be reunited with her beloved husband, Pero (1982). Kata is survived by her children, Finka (Tony), Ivica (Sharon), Ankica (Mirko), Josip (Lisa) and Bosiljko/Boro (Shelley). She will be missed by her grandchildren Olivia, Sabrina, Julianna, Angie (Kevin), Jaxin, Mason, Matthew, Peter (Rachel), Anthony, Evan, Rebecca (Aaron), Justin, Bronson and Cameron (predeceased). She will be deeply missed by extended family and friends in Canada, Bosna and Croatia.
Kata loved cooking and baking for the family and knitting pape (slippers) for the kids and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh, beautiful smile, warm heart and sense of humor always the first to have a funny sarcastic remark in a conversation.
