It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, Kata, in her 95th year at Orchard Terrace Care Centre.
Predeceased by her loving husband Stjepan, and her sisters Ana and Sofija. She will be deeply missed by her sons George (Katie) and Josip (Mira); grandchildren Nancy (Leo), Bill (Melissa), Brian (Sarah), Diana (Mark), and Michelle; and great-grandchildren Benjamin, Maximus, Jacob, Myla, Lincoln, Maverick, Ruby, and Calvin.
She will be fondly remembered by her nephews and their families, and many other family and friends. Kata's family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of Orchard Terrace for their compassionate care.

Visitation at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, May 2nd from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Private Funeral Mass and Interment.
Funeral Mass will be available to view on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 10 a.m. by logging on to Holy Cross Croatian RC Church Facebook page, facebook.com/holycrosscroatian. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Cross Church.
