She is reunited with her late husband Valentin (2008). Loving mother of Mary (Vince) Zvonar and Louie (Julia) Sajn. Cherished and proud grandmother (Baka) of Anita (Gregor) Babic, Paul (Jen) Zvonar, Matt (Mo) Sajn, Valentina (Andrew) Sajn and Alanna (Patrick) Sajn. Great-grandmother of Benjamin and Oliver Babic and Mia and Zachary Zvonar.
Dear aunt of Ivan and Barb Feletar and their family, as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Croatia and her niece Irena in New York. She is also survived by her sister Terezija in Zagreb, Croatia. Kata was predeceased by her parents Stjepan and Ana Nestic, brother Rudy Nestic and sisters Sofia Feletar and Bara Ljubicic.
Kata came to Canada, with Mary, in 1956 to join her husband Valentin in Welland. They worked hard on their farm for many years. Everyone enjoyed Kata's donuts and strudel. She was a devoted fan of "General Hospital" and loved her Tim Horton's. Kata cherished spending time with her family and was happiest among them.
She was a long-time member of St. Anthony of Padua Croatian Church.
