Livia was the beloved wife of the late Ivon. Livia immigrated to the United States when she was 31 years old along with her husband and two children. Livia wanted her children to have a better life and more educational opportunities. She was a loving mother of Ivo Nikolic and his wife Irina Chitko, Joyce Nikolic-Boylan, and the late Davor and his wife Nancy Nikolic. She was a cherished grandmother of Ivanna Nikolic, Evan Nikolic, Ryan Nikolic, Enza Nikolic, Julien Boylan, Blake Boylan and Luke Boylan. She was a dear sister of Anna Nicolich and Norma Nicolich. Devoted daughter of the late Marco and Maria Bellanich.

Livia’s early years were shaped by the island of Unije in Croatia, where she grew up surrounded by the sea and the rhythms of hard work. She spent her girlhood swimming and going to the beach, farming, and working at a sardine factory as a young girl—experiences that reflected a life grounded in perseverance and purpose.

With steady devotion and a quiet strength, Livia expressed her love in the daily work of caring for home and family— always cooking, cleaning, and making sure others were tended to. Livia was an exceptional cook making a variety of Croatian and Italian foods such as her delicious gnocchi with meat sauce. Her deep commitment to those she loved was constant and unmistakable, felt most in the warmth of her presence and the reliability of her hands.

One of her favorite past times was watching games shows and reality TV.
