Predeceased by her husband Frank, sister Danka Juresko, twin brother Slavko, and brother Zeljko Cimera. Ljubica is survived by her children Boris (Galina), Jennifer Lehner (preceded by Russell Ney) and her grandchildren Tyler (Kamryn), Nina, Jessica and Rebecca. She will be missed by relatives here and in Croatia and all those who had the blessing of being in her life.
In 1959, at the age of 21, Ljubica arrived in Canada and met her husband in Victoria and moved to Port Alberni to raise a family.
She worked in the food industry and fish processing plant, while supporting her husband in building their first home. Ljubica had a love for farming, gardening, wine making, walking around the community, and creating fabulous meals for her loved ones.
She loved her “million dollar view” of the inlet, which reminded her of her hometown in Croatia. She will be missed dearly.
