Lucy was born on January 9, 1928, in Pucisca, Croatia to Anton and Maria Derpich. She was married to her husband George for over 60 years. They emigrated to the United States in 1961 and settled in Watsonville.
She was preceded in death by her husband George; her parents Anton and Maria Derpich; her brothers Nikola, Jure, Ivan, and Peter Derpich; and her sisters Mandalena and Kate Derpich.
She is survived by her sisters Maria Maglich and family, Helen (Bob) Zlendich and family, sister-in-law Email Derpich and family and many loving relatives in the United States and Croatia.
Lucy was a devoted Catholic. She had a heart of gold, full of love and generosity. Lucy was famous for her beautiful orchids, her knitting, and her baking. She will be greatly missed.
