It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Luja Pocrnic in her 94th year. Born in Kosa, Lika, Croatia she immigrated to Canada in 1962.
She was predeceased by her husband Ivan. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Dragica (Caroline), daughter Ankica (Anne) (Luka) Bozic, grandchildren Michael Bozic and Louisa (Luja) (Michael) Kovac, great grandchildren Petra Bozic and Nina Kovac, and many relatives and friends in Canada and Croatia.
She was a gentle loving person and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Viewing will be offered from 6-8pm on Tuesday, November 9th at Bell Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings St., Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Wednesday, November 10th at Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Catholic Church, 3105 E. 1st Ave., Vancouver, B.C. Entombment to follow at Ocean View South Mausoleum.
