Teta Mande Cavcic, age 88, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2020 after a long-term illness. She was born June 6, 1932 to Peter and Marija (Budak) Sulentic. She married her longtime friend and love Dane Cavcic in October 1955. He preceded her in death in 1957.
Mande was a talented seamstress and hardworking woman who made a living in Croatia after her husband’s death.
She and her son Luka Arrived in Prince George, British Columbia in the early 1970s. For many years, Mande worked in the Kitchen at The Hotel Vancouver. It suited her servant heart.
Mande is survived by her son Luka and her many nephews and nieces from around the world. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.
