It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Maria Srdanovic, who peacefully departed this world on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025. She is survived by her extensive family who were the greatest source of joy and purpose in her life.
Maria was a nurturing mother to her daughters Cathy (Arne) and Carmen (Denis), as well as her son Mark (Michelle). She loved and doted on her grandchildren Luke (Courtney), Cara (Alex), Dalen (Yvonne), Sasha, Hope, Ashley, Matea and Sebastian.
Maria also shared an inseparable bond with her twin sister Anna (Steve) and her family, Dan (Danielle), Rob (Caleigh) and Stephanie (Ken). She was blessed to become a great-grandmother to Blakely, Riley, Rowan and Lucy, great-aunt to Bennett and Rey, and was fondly referred to by all as “Baba”. Maria is now reunited with her cherished husband of 57 years, Vlado, in eternal rest.
In addition to her devotion to family, her unwavering faith in God was the cornerstone of her life. Maria lived with a heart full of compassion and unconditional generosity. Her deep sense of gratitude for her blessings, her warmth and her loving spirit will forever leave an indelible mark on all who knew her.
