JOVANOVIC, Marija - Of St. Thomas passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, September 9th, 2024, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital at the age of 88.
Dearly loved wife of the late Ivan Jovanovic and dearly loved mother of Mira Jurcic (Milan), Branko Jovanovic (Ana) and Anka Wimbush (Kenny).
Cherished grandmother of Marija (Jurcic) Forget, Dane Jurcic, Milan Jovanovic, Marta (Jurcic) Tremblett, Kristina Jovanovic, Ivan Wimbush, Tomislav Wimbush and Madison Wimbush and great grandmother of Juliett Tremblett, Ella Jovanovic, Jacob Tremblett and Luke Forget.
Sadly missed by a number of brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews in Canada and Croatia.
Marija was born in Donje Pazarište, Lika Croatia on November 11th, 1935, daughter of the late Ivan and Marta (Tomljenovic) Starcevic. She was a member of Saint Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church.
