It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Marija Leko (Senc) on March 18, 2023 at the age of 80.
Marija was born May 20, 1942 in Morovic Croatia and, like many immigrants, she left this familiar home in search of a better life. She and her husband settled in Toronto Canada where she became an active member of the Toronto Croatian Church and the Croatian community.
Marija leaves behind her only daughter Irena, son-in-law Ivica, grandchildren Marko (Karen), Ivan and Antony as well as extended family and friends.
She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. In memory of Marija, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady Queen of Croatia Church in Toronto. Rest in peace.
