Marija Pinezic, 88, passed away in her sleep in the early morning hours of January 19th.
She was predeceased by her loving brother Frano a little over one year ago. Marija was born on June 6, 1935, raised in Dubrovnik, Croatia, met the love of her life, Tony in 1956, married him, had 2 children and moved to America for a better life. She was a housewife who did everything for her family and many others.
She had serious medical setbacks starting in June 2023 and struggled to recover from. After moving in with her daughter Noris to try to recuperate, her medical issues continued to be a challenge and she was made comfortable by those who loved her most.
Marija is survived by her two daughters Noris and Lori, son in law Ed and grandchildren Nancy, Skylar, Natalie and Alana whom she cherished.
Marija will be remembered for her big heart, kindness, love for her family that knew no bounds and help to those in need. Sincerest gratitude to VNS Hospice Care of NJ and Center of Hope Hospice who made her as comfortable and peaceful as possible in her last days.
