Mate Luketic, age 81, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2021. He was born in Ogulinske Zagorje, Croatia on October 14, 1940.
He is survived by his loving wife, Agatha; his dear sons: Daniel and David (Shenlee); his adored granddaughters, Monika, Stephanie, Lacie and Ladine; his uncle, Joseph (deceased) Eva Luketic; cousins, Ljubica Galic (Mile), and many others in the United States and in Croatia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dane and Anna (nee Puskaric) and his daughter-in-law, Josephine.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mate at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Rd. (between Bishop Rd and Rt. 91), Sunday, December 19 from 3-7pm. Funeral Mass, Monday, Dec 20, 10am at St Paul Croatian Church, 1369 E 40th Street, Cleveland, (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment All Souls Cemetery. Masks will be required at the funeral home and church. Arrangements by Golub Funeral Home.
