Mato passed peacefully at Humber River Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 31st in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Dragica of 57 years. Loving father of Monika and Mary (Tom). Loving grandfather of granddaughters Angela and Nikolina.
Mato emigrated from Croatia to Germany, then to Canada in 1964 and married his wife Dragica.
Mato was a very handy man who worked as a machinist in the tool and dye industry until he retired. Mato loved his garden and tending to his fruit trees and grape vines. He absolutely adored his family and loved spending time and playing with his granddaughters.
Mato will be dearly missed by many extended family members and dear friends here in Canada and in Croatia.
