Dr. Michael Lucas Milasich, a Tacoma native and alum of Sacred Heart and Bellarmine Prep, worked various jobs to put himself through Palmer College of Chiropractic.
For nearly five decades, he served as a revered Tacoma Chiropractor, treating patients like family and leaving indelible marks across church, sports, career, and community involvements. A passionate soccer enthusiast, he was a minority owner of the Tacoma Stars and co-founded the Sparta Tacoma Youth Soccer Program.
He proudly embraced his Croatian heritage, engaging in events at Slavonian Hall and traveling the world with his beloved Joanie, friends, and family, relishing every moment. Despite a terrible singing voice, he possessed an enormous heart, a contagious laugh, and healed countless individuals with his hands and uplifting words.
Affectionately known as "Doc Mick," he was an extraordinary man deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Preceded in death by his parents Aubrey and Lucretia, brother Sam, sister Terri, son Stephen, and wife Joan, he leaves behind a legacy of love and family.
Survived by sons Michael (Julie), Luke (Leanna), Joel (Rachael), daughters Katy (Ryan), Lindsay (Bill), Priscilla, and Sashi (Casey), he cherished his eight grandchildren, Ian, Ivy, Gabriella, Mila, Naomi, Izzy, Addison, and new grandson Luka.
Grateful for the loving care during his battle with spinal cancer, his immediate family extends heartfelt thanks to extended family, dear friends, and colleagues for their unwavering support and friendship.
