He was predeceased by his parents, Jakov and Milica Matkovic.
Mile was a devoted grandfather to Jacob, Ryan, Daniella, and Alivia, who were his pride and joy. He cherished every moment spent with them, filling their lives with love and laughter.
Known for his quick wit and humor, Mile had a gift for connecting with people and always loved making others laugh. He was an avid sport fisherman and found joy in nurturing his garden, constantly dreaming up new ways to cultivate. He always beamed with happiness when he was able to share his bounty with friends and family.
Mile’s life was marked by resilience, love and a deep dedication to his family. He will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, and the lasting impact he had on everyone who knew him.
